More About the Team

Manzi Francis Junior is a Co-Founder and Director at Stancoff Company. Manzi holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Technology from the Uganda Information, Communication, and Technology (UICT). Together with Elly, Manzi founded Stancoff Company. Manzi holds a wealth of experience on Uganda’s coffee value chain and has a passion to contribute to improvement of the quality and volume of Uganda’s coffee exports by strengthening collaborative efforts with partners motivated by the same goal.

Phillip Kamutenga is a Global Health Leader and Executive Coach. Phillip has varied experience both in the private and global public health sectors and has assumed several executive leadership positions in Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Phillip is an executive coach and has coached emerging leaders and executives within the organizations he worked and a few clients throughout the world. He prides himself as someone who solves the most intractable problems, builds high-quality high-performance teams, creates order and stability where there is chaos, and consistently delivers verifiable upside and impact. Phil particularly loved data, evidence and precision.

Elly Wakadala is a Co-Founder and Director at Stancoff Company. Elly is a graduate of Makerere University Business School with Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. Elly was part the core team that started Stancoff Company and has a wealth of knowledge and experience on Uganda’s coffee value chain, spanning over 10 years. Prior to starting Stancoff Company, Elly worked with Kalamugosi Coffee Women Enterprise, located in Mbale, and has received specialized training on coffee quality from the Benx School of Coffee located in Ntinda, Kampala.

Michael Mugisha is a Commercial and Business Consultant for Stancoff Company. Michael is a Ph.D Candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Prior to joining LSE, Michael worked at the Ibero Uganda Limited as the Commercial and Operations Manager, where he oversaw and directed the Company’s commercial and business operations. During this brief period in this role, Michael supervised a team that contributed to the growth of the Company’s exports from 220,000 to 300,000 bags of coffee within one year. During his tenure at Ibero, Michael also led and supervised the development of unconventional innovations that contributed to strengthening the company’s coffee sourcing network whilst ensuring expanded delivery of services that attended to coffee farmers’ needs
